VSL & FARRIERS are in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty region and we love working with horses but more specifically their feet.

Our service offers comprehensive diagnosis, treatment and maintenance for a variety of foot conditions using medical therapy as well as therapeutic shoeing. The combination of being both a veterinarian and a professional farrier allows Dr. Knight to treat each foot problem on an individual basis with an understanding of both the medical physiology and the mechanics of the equine foot. Dr. Knight's methodology centers on using the basic principles of farriery combined with advanced technology to treat foot problems.

It’s been said no foot no horse and as horse owners you would have seen the truth in this. Humans have removed the horse from his wild environment, where his hooves basically took care of themselves. Now we as owners must make sure our equine friends get regular hoof care to keep them comfortable and sound. That’s where VSL & Farrier’s come in to help you the owners.
